Laura Esquivel

Laura Esquivel Valdés ( born September 30, 1950 in Mexico City) is a Mexican author.

She became famous for her novel "Como agua para chocolate" (1989 ), which was translated into 33 languages ​​and made ​​into a movie. The film was shot in 1992 by her husband Alfonso Arau in Mexico.
