Laura Veirs

Laura Veirs (born 1973 in Colorado Springs ) is an American singer who lives in Portland, Oregon.

She sings, plays guitar solo and performs with the band " Salt Breakers ", which belong to the drummer Tucker Martine and the keyboardist and trombonist Steve Moore. In 2005, she toured North America, Australia and Europe. Even in the years 2006 and 2007 she gave concerts in Europe. Salt Breakers, their third album (2007) with the label Nonesuch Records, Laura Veirs called her most personal. This came at a very busy time of her life, " the termination of a long relationship and then an unexpected new relationship " was coined. In addition Veirs moved at this time from Seattle to Portland.

Your current band "Tortured Souls", she has renamed with a constant occupation in " Salt Breakers " in order to avoid the constant allusions to the old band name.
