Laurence Binyon

Robert Laurence Binyon ( born August 10, 1869 in Lancaster, † March 10, 1943 in Reading ) was an English poet, dramatist and art historian.

Binyon was curator at the British Museum in London and since 1933 professor at Harvard University. He wrote important works on Japanese and Chinese art.
