Lauri Tilkanen

Lauri Tilkanen (born 6 November 1987 in Karinainen, Finland) is a Finnish actor.

Life

Tilkanen grew up with three siblings in a peasant family in the village of Karinainen on. His mother works as a special teacher, his father is the owner of a food company. As a child in a children's choir sang Tilkanen. Other hobbies in his childhood and youth were cross-country skiing, athletics, basketball, and hockey; The latter played a very big role in his life. Tilkanen still operates as various team sports and plays piano, guitar and drums. He spent much of his youth in Turku, where he played in the theater Turun Nuori Teatteri.

Tilkanen took in 2006 to study at the Helsinki Theatre Academy (Finnish Teatterikorkeakoulu ). Since 2007 he has worked as an actor. In 2012, he graduated with a Master of Arts ( MA).

Tilkanen has starred in four Finnish TV series and seven films. The most popular series in which Tilkanen occurred Hovimäki ( Hofhügel ) and Helppo are elämä ( easy life ). In the series Hovimäki he played the young nobleman Väinö Seppä and in the third season of Helppo Elämä Joonas, a lawyer. From occupied him film roles Rupert are in Skavabölen pojat ( Last Cowboy Standing ) and Matti Välitalo in Härmä (Once Upon a Time in the North). Tilkanen has engagements in the theater Ryhmäteatteri in Helsinki, and in the improvisation group Riskiryhmä. Riskiryhmä consists of 14 young Finnish actors and three musicians.

Tilkanen lives in a community with actress Pamela Tola together (born 15 October 1981), whom he met working on the movie Härmä in summer 2011. Tola has two children from a previous marriage with producer Pauli Waroma.
