Lautersee

The Lautersee is a small mountain lake west of Mittenwald, Upper Bavaria.

The approximately 14.6 hectares and up to 19 meters deep lake is located at 1,013 meters above sea level, south of the High Kranzberg.

On the shore there is a hotel, a small bathhouse and a rental of rowboats and pedal boats and a chapel. Southern and eastern shores are used as a swimming area. On the lake itself also grebes are found.

Accessible is the lake of Mittenwald on the Laintal. Since the mid- 1990s, reversed from a bus line from the middle of the forest.

Approx. 1.5 km west lies the Ferchensee, from where they continued to come to Schloss Elmau.
