Lê Công Vinh

Lê Công Vinh ( born December 10, 1985 in Quỳnh Lưu ) is a Vietnamese football players in the position of striker.

Club career

Lê Công Vinh began his career in the youth department of the PVFC Sông Lam Nghe An. From 1998 to 2004 he played there for the juniors before he signed a contract with the seniors. For this he played for four years, until the end of the 2008 season. After the season, he joined the V-League promoted T & T Ha Noi. The origin of the change was followed in detail in the Vietnamese media. Vinh was agreed already have a contract with the club The Cong, took at the last minute, however, nor the offer of T & T Ha Noi to that guaranteed him a higher salary. National team career

Throughout the tournament he scored two goals. This, however, he scored in each of the final two games. In the first leg of the final against Thailand, he met in the 42nd minute to make it 2-1 for his team. In the return match, he scored in extra time 1:1, which meant the first title in the ASEAN Championships for Vietnam.
