Le Grand-Pressigny

Le Grand- Pressigny is a commune with 990 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Indre- et- Loire in the Centre region ( historical region: Touraine ). It belongs to the district of the same name, as well as hole Canton of Le Grand- Pressigny and lies on the banks of the river Claise. At the village lies the mining site of Le Grand- Pressigny.

Attractions

  • Castle Le Grand- Pressigny; Part ruins of a castle, whose roots date back to the 12th century. The building received today house the Musée de departemental Préhistoire founded in 1910.
