Lê Hiền Đức

Lê Đức Hiền ( born December 12, 1932 Birth Name Phạm Mỹ Dung Thi ) is a Vietnamese woman who was known for her commitment against corruption. On 12 December 2007, the civil rights activist was - awarded by Transparency International with this annual award " price integrity " - together with the Basel criminal law professor Mark Pieth.

The now lives in Hanoi grandmother of eight grandchildren was busy in the Indochina war against France and in the Vietnam War against the United States with the deciphering of radio messages. Outside of combat missions, she worked until her retirement in 1984 as an elementary school teacher. Since then she has been very active in the fight against corruption in Vietnam, among other things, that they fellow citizens who contact it supports, and makes public relations.
