Mozart of Pickpockets is a French short comedy film directed by Philippe Pollet - Villard from the year 2006.
Action
Philippe and Richard are working with a group of Spanish pickpockets and rob passers-by. Always can be one of the Spaniards caught stealing, Philippe and Richard appear as a supposed police officers and " arrest " the thief, while the other two Spaniards use the confusion to steal all other passers wallets. Philip and Richard, who have a room in a small hotel and live in modest circumstances, are always at a disadvantage in the coup and generally receive the passes of the robbed man, which can be difficult to make money. Because they have nothing else can, they stay with the troupe. The Spaniards are taken in a coup by real police officers. Awards
Mozart of Pickpockets received the 2007 Grand Prix and the Jury Prize at the national competition of the Festival du Court - Métrage de Clermont -Ferrand. The film was in 2008 with an Oscar in the category " Best Short Film " award. He also won the César Award for Best Short Film.
