Le Ponthou

Le Ponthou ( Ar Pontou Breton ) is a commune of 166 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Finistère.

Location

The place is located in the north of Brittany, near the Atlantic coast. Morlaix is located 13 kilometers (km ) west, Brest 65 km west of Paris and about 440 km to the east (in straight line ). Through the town, the river runs Douron.

Infrastructure

In the vicinity is the next exit on the highway E 50 (Brest - Rennes ) and Plouigneau Plouaret and regional stations in the predominantly parallel railway line. The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris, and is at the Brest Regional Airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.
