Roses from Gdansk ( original title: Le rose di Danzica ) is an Italian film drama directed by Alberto Bevilacqua from 1979 The film stars Franco Nero dressed and Helmut Berger. . The co-produced by the Italian television channel RAI film came in 1979 in the cinemas and was broadcast two years after the show at the RAI in extended form as a three-piece suit ( Miniseries).

Action

The plot is set in 1919 in Gdansk. There the deserted Prussian General Konrad kidnapped by the mountain the young nobleman Baron Erich Lehner. Between the two developed a close friendship after initial hostility and the young Baron von Lehner finally take care of the last will of the General.

Alberto Bevilacqua wrote the screenplay based on his own novel.

Criticism
