Le Verrier (lunar crater)

Le Verrier is a small impact craters in the northern part of the Mare Imbrium. To the west of the crater Helicon and further lies in west-northwest direction, the area enclosed by mountains bay of the sinus iridium.

The bowl-shaped Le Verrier has a circular edge. Show on the interior walls along the upper edge traces of slope slides. Inner wall and crater floor are irregular shaped on the southeast side than in the rest of the crater.
