League of American Orchestras

History

The establishment of the ASOL was held on the initiative of Leta G. Snow (1880-1980), the founder and director of existing since 1921 " Kalamazoo Symphonyorchesters ". Snow wanted to promote the exchange of experiences and information with other " bourgeois " orchestra conductors.
