Leakey (crater)

Leakey is an impact crater on the Moon's front west of the Mare Fecunditatis, northeast of the crater Capella and northwest of Gutenberg. The small crater is little eroded and has traces of a concentric landslide inside on.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1976 after the British paleoanthropologist Louis Leakey.
