Gutenberg is an impact crater on the moon. It lies on the western edge of Mare Fecunditatis. The nearest neighbors are the craters Goclenius, Magellan and Colombo.

The rim is heavily eroded, especially in the East, where it is superimposed on the crater ' Gutenberg E'. This crater itself again gaps, creating a connection is made to Mare.

The soils of Gutenberg and ' Gutenberg E' were flooded by lava from Mare. The floor of Gutenberg is crossed by two fissures that are part of the Rimae Goclenius.
