LeAnn Rimes

Margaret LeAnn Rimes Cibrian ( born August 28, 1982 in Pearl, Mississippi), better known as LeAnn Rimes, is an American country and pop singer.

Rimes biggest hit was Can not Fight the Moonlight in 2000; her best-selling album Blue in 1996 with Unchained Melody. The Early Years and You Light up My Life: Inspirational Songs 1997 had two number-one albums in one year. She sold by 2010 more than 40 million albums and more than 60 million records.

Biography

Rimes was born in 1982 as daughter of Belinda Butler Rimes and Wilbur in Pearl, Mississippi. Her family moved in 1988 after Garland, Texas. At the age of two, she began singing at a young age and graduated from a vocal and dance training. At the age of five she took part in a local talent show and then began to appear in a musical theater. After a TV appearance on a national TV channel Rimes completed a number of appearances on Johnnie's High Country Music Revue in Arlington, Texas, which earned her the attention of national talent scouts.

At age nine, Rimes was already an experienced singer. She toured with her father by various states and also sang the national anthem a cappella regularly the USA at the beginning of the NFL games of the Dallas Cowboys. In order to help his now eleven year old daughter more national attention, the father began to publish their recordings under the independent label Nor Vak Yes. Between 1992 and 1996 three albums appeared there.

Rimes was discovered by radio host Bill Mack. In May 2000, Rimes filed a lawsuit against her father, Wilbur Rimes, and a former manager for embezzlement. It turned out that the men had acquired around eight million dollars in royalties.

2002 Rimes married Dean Sheremet the dancers; They were divorced in June 2010.

As Actress Rimes has played in several productions, including the TV production Nora Roberts - Northern Lights. During the filming, she met actor Eddie Cibrian, whom she married on Good Friday 2011 in a private ceremony.

Rimes also took a role in Good Intentions.
