Lee Jin-taek

Lee Jin- taek (Korean 이진택; born April 13, 1972) is a former South Korean high jumper.

1991, 1993 and 1995, he was Asian champion and Asian Games in Hiroshima in 1994, he won silver. While he was a failure at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona and at the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart in 1993 and 1995 in Gothenburg in qualifying, he was eighth at the 1996 Olympic Games.

The following year he won gold at the East Asian Games, was eighth at the World Championships in Athens and won gold at the Universiade. In 1998 he won the silver medal at the Asian Championships and gold at the Asian Games in Bangkok.

A sixth place finish at the 1999 World Cup in Sevialla followed at the Olympic Games 2000 in Sydney from the qualification.

In 2001 he won at the East Asian Games and 2002 Asian Games in Busan gold.

Lee Jin- taek is 1,89 m tall and weighed about 70 kg competition times.
