Lee Naylor (footballer)

Lee Martyn Naylor ( born March 19, 1980 in Bloxwich ) is an English footballer, currently playing for Cardiff City in the Football League Championship.

Career

Naylor was born in Bloxwich, near Wolverhampton. There he wrote 1996, his first contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers. In 1997 he played his first professional game against Birmingham City at St Andrew's Stadium. In the following years he could also recommend for the English U-21 national team. His final breakthrough came in the season 2002 / 03, when he was a part of the Wolves won the play-off final in Cardiff and rose to the top English league. In the 2003 /04 Premier League season he was the only player of his club, which was missing a single minute in the championship round.

August 23, 2006 Lee Naylor signed with Celtic a new contract, was there as a left-back immediately regulars and won the title in October 2006 as a player of the month the Scottish Premier League. He won in his first year at Celtic, the "Double" from Scottish Cup victory and championship and defended the latter title in the subsequent season. In summer 2010, Naylor ran out of contract at Celtic; to an extension of the commitment in addition, it did not come. On August 19, 2010 Lee Naylor moved to Cardiff City.
