LefkoÅŸa District

The district Lefkoşa, Turkish Lefkoşa Ilcesi, is one of five districts of the internationally unrecognized Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the center of the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. Its main town is the northern part of the divided Cypriot capital Lefkoşa (Nicosia).

After reading the Republic of Cyprus, the district Lefkoşa is part of the district of Nicosia.

Apart from the northern part of Nicosia district also includes the adjacent municipalities. In its territory lies the key to Northern Cyprus Ercan Airport.
