Lefortovo Tunnel

The Lefortowoer tunnel (Russian Лефортовский тоннель ) is a 2056 -meter-long tunnel, which is part of the third ring road in Moscow and Europe's third longest city tunnel. Named after the adjacent district Lefortovsky tunnel was built from 2001 to 2003 and is infamous for relatively frequent traffic accidents. Above the tunnel, the river flows Jausa and the water penetrates in some places. In winter, when the temperature drops below 0 degrees in the tunnel, formed ice.
