Lellig

Lellig is a village in the municipality of Luxembourg Manternach. Lellig comprises 54 households (as of 2003) and is on the road CR 139 Manternach to Herborn - Osweiler - Echternach located.

The church built in 1870 is dedicated to St. Anton.

The " Lelliger plateau " with a mineral subsoil Keuper and Muschelkalk is used for agriculture by pastoralism operated as well as fodder crops are grown, such as corn and alfalfa.

In the woods on the 328 m high Weiler is a walled Roman grave garden and the remains of a Roman pillar tomb, which has been restored as monuments.
