Lembach (Schwalm)

The Lembach is a right side and southern tributary of the Schwalm, the completely in the field of Schwalm- Eder -Kreis ( Hesse, Germany ) runs.

Geography

The Lembach arises between the Borkener districts Pfaffenhausen and Freudenthal in the northeastern corner of the Vernarer forest. The source is located approximately 240 meters above sea level. Between Pfaffenhausen and Freudenthal of Lembach runs in a northerly direction, before turning northeast to Homberger district Lembach. It flows on the western outskirts past, the Lembach swings in a northwesterly direction to the district of Borken Lendorf. This direction maintains the Lembach until it flows about 1 km after Lendorf in the Schwalm.

On its way through urban areas of Borken and Homberg of Lembach overcomes a difference in altitude of about 73 meters and has a length of about 6.4 km.
