Lemon, Lime and Bitters

Lemon, Lime and Bitters (often abbreviated to LLB) is an almost non-alcoholic long drink. He is with lemonade ( lemonade ), lime juice (or Lime Juice Cordial ) and a few splashes of aromatic bitters ( Angostura ) were prepared. Angostura Bitters does contain 44.7 % alcohol by volume, by the small amount - a few splashes - is the alcohol content of the finished beverage, even with generous doses well below 1% by volume (compared to ripe banana to 1 % by volume, grape juice: to 0.6 % by volume, alcohol-free beer: up to 0.5 % by volume).

Lemon, Lime and Bitters is originally from Australia and is drunk there, preferably after a round of golf. On average, 50 million " LLB " per year in Australia alone consumed. In Australia, Lemon, Lime and Bitters is available as a ready to drink in bottles.

Preparation

In a filled highball glass with ice cubes ( highball glass) come to taste some splashes ( Dashes ) Angostura Bitters and 15 to 30 ml lime juice, then is filled with lemonade and garnished with a lime or lemon slice.
