Lemonade Joe ( Original title: Limonádový Joe aneb Konska opera) is a 1964 in Czechoslovakia produced parody of western films. Oldrich Lipský directed; the film was first shown on 28 August 1964 in the GDR in the cinema and ran in January 1966 in West Germany. The screenplay is based on the novel and play by Jiří Brdečka.

Action

Lemonade Joe, dressed in white, comes to Stetson City and ensures that the constantly thrashing and whiskey drinking population makes the acquaintance of the drink Kolaloka, he drinks constantly. When Mr. Goodman, another newcomer with missionary intentions, opened a Kolaloka saloon, he will be a success; sangesfreudige whose daughter also ensures that the old saloon is nurmehr inhabited by spiders. The figure of Limonadovný Joe was born about 1940; in some short stories he has performed for the magazine " Ahoy ". Later developed Author Brdečka from a play, which in turn inspired a puppet film.
