Len Barry

Len Barry ( born June 12, 1942 as Leonard Borisoff in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American pop singer.

Life

As a child of the sport enthusiastic Barry wanted to be a professional baseball player. However, during his time as a soldier, he started in various army bands to sing and was so successful that he continued this even after this time.

He founded with some friends 1960 years as lead singer of the band The Dovells in appearance and sang, inter alia, on the hit single Bristol Stomp (1961, U.S. Billboard Charts fourth place ). Another hit came with You Can not Sit Down 1963.

After his departure from the the Dovells in 1965, he tried a solo career. His first single lip sync was not a particular success.
