Leo Lösch von Hilkertshausen

Leo deletion of Hilkertshausen († 1559 ) was Prince-Bishop of Freising ( 49th Bishop of Freising ) in the years 1552-1559.

Leo came from a resident in Hilgertshausen at Dachau noble family. He promoted with the support of the Bavarian Duke Albrecht V, the Counter-Reformation in his diocese. During his tenure there came in 1555 to the Peace of Augsburg.
