Leo M. Drona

Leo Murphy Drona, SDB ( born October 18, 1941 in Pangil, Philippines ) is a retired bishop of San Pablo.

Life

Leo Murphy Drona entered the Congregation of the Salesians of Don Bosco and received on 22 December 1967, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On 10 June 1987 by Pope John Paul II appointed Bishop of San Jose. The Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, Archbishop Bruno Torpigliani, donated to him on July 25th of that year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Auxiliary Bishop of Manila, Gabriel Villaruz Reyes, and the Bishop of San Pablo, Pedro Bantigue y Natividad. On 14 May 2004, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of San Pablo.

Pope Benedict XVI. adopted on 25 January 2013 his resignation.
