Leona Graham

Leona Graham ( born January 18, 1971) is a British radio presenter and voice over artist. She is currently a presenter at Radio Absolute Radio (formerly Virgin Radio ), a position she has held since 2000. They can also listen to digital radio stations Absolute 80s and Absolute Classic Rock.

Moreover, Leona Graham has added voice-overs for various national and local television and radio stations, and on commercials.

Education

Leona Graham attended Berkhamsted School for Girls in Berkhamsted. She then studied from 1989 to 1993 at the University of Warwick and received a drama - Bachelor of Arts degree. She also has a certification as a teacher.

Broadcasting

Early career

She began her broadcasting career with the W963 University Radio Warwick (now Radio Warwick ), where they presented the "Thursday Night Rock Show " and a nightly news program called " Weekday Warwick " in the Journal style.

Virgin Radio

Leona Graham began in April 2000 as a presenter with Virgin Radio. During her Virgin radio time she presented a variety of programs: the Virgin Radio UK album charts, the Virgin Radio Party, Teenage Kicks, anthems of the 80s, Smells like the 90 's, The Classic Rock Show, The Late Show, Virgin Love, and the Weekend breakfast radio.

She was the second presenter, who could be heard on Virgins digital radio station Virgin Classic Rock at its inception in 2003.

Absolute Radio

Leona remained in radio after Virgin Radio has been renamed to " Absolute Radio ". You may Saturdays from 18.30 bis 22.00 clock are heard with their " Absolute Classic Rock Party" and on Sunday from 12.00 bis 17.00 clock. She is also the presenter of representation and assumes regular radio broadcasts of other moderators.

She is also a presenter of Absolute Radio digital radio stations Absolute Classic Rock ( weekdays from 10.00 bis 13.00 clock, Sunday 9.00 bis 12.00 clock ) and Absolute 80s ( weekdays from 13.00 bis 16.00 clock, Saturday from 13.00 bis 18.00 clock ).

Leona was the voice for BBC Radio One, BBC 5 LIVE, 95.8 Capital FM, The BOX, E4, Virgin Radio and Absolute Radio. She regularly takes part in BBC1, ITV1 and SKY1 and speaks voiceovers for Channel 4 is also known for her voice in movie trailers at Virgin Media TV.

Recently she started with Orion Media to work to produce a trailer for his station BRMB, Mercia and Wyvern FM. Leona Graham is one of the voices of Canadian radio station 102.3 Now Radio in Edmonton.

Awards

Absolute Radio won the 2010 Sony Radio Academy Award in Bronze in the category "Best Station Imaging " for its pictorial representation, in which Leona Graham was one of the key stakeholders as Absolute radio voice.
