Leonard Krasulski

Leonard Seweryn Krasulski ( born February 8, 1950 in Sopot ) is a Polish politician and since 2005 member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Legislature.

He has the general university and was until 2005 Grupa Żywiec SA employee of the brewery.

In the 80s, he joined the opposition Solidarity trade union. In 1982 he was convicted of oppositional activity to imprisonment. He was a founder of the Catholic right-wing conservative Porozumienie Centrum ( center - agreement - PC ) and the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ( Law and Justice - PiS ), he was the regional bodies of the party in Elblag. In 1989 he organized the Senate campaign of Jarosław Kaczyński in the Elbląg Voivodeship.

In 2005 he was charged with driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated (he had 0.58 mg of alcohol in the blood) sentenced to a fine and disqualification from driving. The verdict was the head of PiS before the parliamentary elections of 2005, but no conclusions were drawn by the party.

In the same year he was elected on the list of PiS for the constituency Elbląg in the Sejm. In the 2007 parliamentary elections he won with 17,184 votes again a parliamentary mandate for the PiS. He is a member of Sejmkommission of Economics, as well as for local self-government.
