Leonardo Andrés Iglesias

Leonardo Andres Iglesias ( born August 28, 1979 in Lanús ) is an Argentine football player.

Iglesias started his career in the 3rd Liga Argentina with Club Atlético Talleres de Remedios de Escalada in 1997. Afterwards he played for Gimnasia y Esgrima de Entre Ríos, San Martín de Mendoza. Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba Club Atlético Tigre and Atlético Rafaela.

Leonardo played for clubs outside Argentina: CD Logroñés, Burgos CF, Leonesa and CM Peralta in Spain. Villa Española in Uruguay and Kayserispor in Turkey. With Leonardo Kayserispor won the Turkish Cup in the 2007/ 08 season. Iglesias scored six goals and was the top scorer in the competition.

At the end of the season his contract was terminated, despite the good performance. He stayed in Turkey and moved to MKE Ankaragucu. During the winter break of the 2009/10 season Iglesias moved to Bursaspor and became Turkish champion. He only managed a goal for Bursaspor and in the quarter-final cup match against Fenerbahce. After the season, his contract was not renewed and therefore he left the club.
