Leonor Baldaque
Leonor Bessa - Luís Alves Baldaque ( born January 27, 1977 in Porto ) is a Portuguese actress. She lives in Rome.
Life
She is the granddaughter of the writer Agustina Bessa - Luís. Director Manoel de Oliveira, who is a friend and admirer of the author, learned Leonor Baldaque know through it. When he was looking for an actress for his film unrest (1998), he offered her the role. She accepted and turned from then to acting. After she finished her studies in 2000, Language and Literature at the University of Porto, they therefore went to Paris, where she studied at the Cours Florent theater and settled down. There followed a series of roles, especially in films of Manoel de Oliveira.
In 2009 she married and spent our honeymoon in Puglia. The couple moved in the same year to Rome, where Leonor Baldaque wrote her first novel in French. Vita - La Vie Legere was published in the Collection of the publishing house Éditions Gallimard Blanche. She is working on her second novel, in which Italy and the Italian painting will provide the backdrop. (As of September 2013)
