Leović

Leović (Cyrillic: Леовић ) is a village in western Serbia, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Geography and population

The village lies in the Opština Ljubovija, in Okrug Mačva. The place had in the census of 2002 318 inhabitants, while there were 1991 486 inhabitants. After the last three population statistics, the population continues to fall. The population make 100% Serbian Orthodox Serbs. The village consists of 117 households.

The village lies east of the Drina, which represents the border between Serbia and Bosnia here. Leović is located southeast of the municipal capital Ljubovija.
