Les Ramoneurs de menhirs

Les Ramoneurs de menhirs is a Breton folk punk band, which was founded in 2006. The band consists of Éric Gorce on the Bombard, Richard Bevillon the bagpipes, the traditional Breton singer Maurice Jouanno and Loran, guitarist Bérurier Noir. They play on traditional dance festivals ( hard - noz ) as well as on regular concerts. Their lyrics are almost exclusively in Breton language.

History

The band was founded in 2006, after Eric and Richard Louise Ebrel, Maurice Jouanno and the ex - Bérurier Noir member Loran cores, have been invited for their album of traditional Breton music Izel. Their first album, Dañs to Diaoul ( "The Dance of the Devil ") was in 2006 by the label Bérurier Noir, Folklore de la Zone Mondiale, brought out. The singer Louise Ebrel, daughter of Eugénie Goadec, a famous traditional Breton musicians, guest singer was at a few songs on the album.

In April 2010 came her second album: Amzer on dispac'h ( "The time of revolt "). Many guests were invited to the recording of the album: Gilles Servat, Les mangeouses d' oreille, Blackfire, Niko Tagada, Louise Ebrel and finally Roland et Jean -Pierre of the group Quic- en- Groigne from Saint- Malo.
