The Art Institute of Boston (AIB ) is a private art school and is one of the Boston Lesley University. Animation, Design, Fine Arts, Illustration and photography can be completed here with the Bachelor. Fine Arts and photography are masters courses. The University indicates that 10 students come to a faculty.

History

Roy Davidson in 1912 he founded the School of Practical Art in 1967 was renamed the College in The Art Institute of Boston. The AIB is a member of AICAD ( Association of Independenz Colleges of Art and Design ), an association of thirty-six leading art schools in the United States. In 1998, the AIB and Lesley University have been merged. The Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, was founded in 1909.

The AIB is located in the neighborhood of Kenmore Square in downtown Boston. Most events take place in the AIB two buildings of the '20s. You are at 700 Bacon Street and 601 Newbury Street and have computer labs, classrooms, workrooms and Bureaus. Galleries

The AIB has three galleries. The main gallery is located at 700 Bacon Street and provides space for temporary exhibitions. Another gallery is located at 601 Newbury Street. The third gallery in a building of Lesley University in Cambridge shows a variety of exhibitions of teachers, students and other artists. Admission to all galleries is free.

Courses of study and course
