Bush clover ( Lespedeza ) is a plant genus in the family Fabaceae ( Faboideae ) within the legume family ( Fabaceae ). The approximately 40 to 60 species are found in East and Southeast Asia spread from the Himalayas to China and Japan to Australia, and North America.

Description

Appearance and leaves

Bush clover species are herbaceous plants, subshrubs or deciduous shrubs, often with creeping or tow -like overhanging branches. The bark is sometimes hairy fluffy. The alternate arranged leaves are pinnate three parts.
