The moss Virgin ( Leucorrhinia ) are a genus of the subfamily Leucorrhininae and were first described in 1850 by Britt Inger.
Features
Brittinger named in 1850, in addition to the metallic luster of the thorax, as characteristics of the genus triangular, black spot on the hind wing base, the white forehead and nose, and the shape, back flank and abdomen attachments.
