Lev Borisov
Lev Ivanovich Borisov (Russian Лев Иванович Борисов; born December 8, 1933 Pljos, † November 15, 2011 in Moscow) was a Russian theater and film actor.
Life
Lev Borisov was born in 1933 in Pljos in Ivanovo, the younger brother of actor Oleg Borisov. He completed his theater training from the 1956 Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute.
Until 1960 he worked at the student theater, shortly after he began a career as an actor at the most important Russian theaters. Within 50 years Borissov appeared in many performances of various Russian theater and has appeared in the last years of his life with his daughter Nadezhda Borissova in the revival of the play stranger woman and man under the bed.
He died on 15 November 2011 as a result of acute stroke.
