The Levy Mwanawasa Stadium is a multi-purpose arena in the Zambian city of Ndola. The currently used mostly for football matches stadium was originally planned for Pan-African Games in 2011 and to replace the outdated Dag Hammarskjold Stadium in Ndola. The construction contract was awarded to Chinese companies. After Zambia returned the alignment in December 2008, but it was not initially to the start of construction. 2010 said the Chinese government to the establishment. the June 9, 2012 with the encounter Zambia Ghana, a qualifier for the 2014 World Cup, opened.

The stadium is named after Levy Mwanawasa, the reigning from 2002 until his death in 2008 the third President of Zambia.
