Li Ji (swimmer)

Li Ji (李 季Chinese, Pinyin lǐ Ji, born July 9, 1986 in Yunnan ) is a Chinese swimmer.

In 1998, she was inducted into the Sports School of Yunnan Province, where she was trained by Li Wen. In 2003 she became a member of the national team, after she had become the fourth Chinese Championship over 200 meters freestyle.

At the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 she received as a member of the 4 × 200 meter freestyle relay silver medal, which she was, however, only in the flow at the start.

In 2004 she was over 200 meters freestyle at the World Cup in Russia Fifth. Furthermore, it was in October of the same year with the Chinese 4 × 100 meter freestyle relay and sixth with the 4 × 200 meter freestyle relay fourth in the Short Course World Championships in Indianapolis.

A year later, it reached the 4 × 100 meter freestyle relay final at the swimming world championships in 2005 in Montreal and was sixth.
