Li Jinyu

Li Jinyu ( Chinese:李金羽; Pinyin: lǐ Jīnyǔ; born July 6, 1977 in Shenyang) is one of the most popular Chinese football player and currently plays for Shandong Luneng in the Chinese Super League.

Career

His first football club was Liaoning Yuandong (then: Liaoning Tianlun ). He was considered very talented and moved to France in summer 1998 in the Ligue 1 for AS Nancy. After only half a year and only six scoreless inserts he finished the intermezzo and moved back to Liaoning Yuandong (until 2000: Liaoning Fushun ). For Liaoning he scored in 5 seasons (until 2003) in 100 games 46 goals. Since the 2004 season, he is in the service of Shandong Luneng, for which he has brought it now in more than 100 games to more than 60 gates. National

His first international tournament he played in 1997 with the Junior World Championships in Malaysia. At the same time he was also in the national team of men, with whom he took part in the Asia Cup in 2004 and for which he is - except for the seasons 1999 and 2007 - so far 71 games ( 26 goals) brought. 1999 and Asia Cup 2007, he was each canceled due to poor form out of the squad. Since 2008, he has not been nominated for an international game.
