Liam Mac Cóil

Liam Mac Coil ( born 1952 in Dublin) is an Irish writer and literary critic, whose work is mainly written in the Irish language.

Currently Mac Coil lives in the Gaeltacht Rathcairn in County Meath. Three novels were published by him at Dochtúir Athas, An Claíomh Solais and Fontenoy. He is editor of the annual publication Bliainiris and director of the publishing house Carbad. He has published a book about his personal experiences to the composer Charles Villiers Stanford that is to Chláirseach agus to Choróin in 2010. Another novel An Litir has been published by him in 2011.
