Liane Bahler

Liane Bahler ( born January 22, 1982 in Kirchheim, † July 4, 2007 at Rudolstadt ) was a German professional cyclist. She was German road champion of the Junior Women 1999 and 2000.

Life

Liane Bahler began in 1996 with the cycling and became German champion as a junior. In 2002 she went to the national team under national coach Jochen Dornbusch a stage win in the Tour de l' Aude one. She won the junior rating in this race. For the Equipe Nürnberger she took in 2002 as a guest driver part in the Tour de France for women. From 2003 to 2005 she worked as a professional in the Equipe Nürnberger under contract and was at this time among other German mountain Champion 2003. 2006 she joined the Dutch team Therme Skin Care, before she moved to Fenixs 2007.

She died on 4 July 2007 in a traffic accident.
