Lianne de Vries

Elisabeth Anne " Lianne " de Vries ( born June 28, 1990 in Amstelveen ) is a Dutch football player. Since the 2009/10 season she played in the Eredivisie for FC Utrecht.

Club career

De Vries played for twelve years, most recently in the A1 Youth, together with her twin brother in boys teams from Amstelveen Heemraad in her hometown. In the summer of 2009, she moved to FC Utrecht in the Eredivisie. Here they had repeatedly struggled with injuries, so that they no longer belonged to the end of the 2010/11 season, in Utrecht was fifth to the root formation.

National

In spring 2008, de Vries took the U-19 national team in a tournament, after which she was first appointed to the cadre of the senior national team for two friendlies against China. She made her debut at age 17 on 4 May 2008 in a 2-2 draw in Emmen. By September 2009, the defensive midfielder actor came on eight matches in which they scored a goal. It belonged to the squad of the Orange team, which reached the semifinals at the European Championship 2009, but was not in Finland used.
