Liao Feng-teh

Liao Fung- te (* circa 1951, † 10 May, 2008 Taipei) was a Taiwanese politician of the Kuomintang Party. He was designated Minister of the Interior of Taiwan.

Liao earned a Ph. D. at National Chengchi University, worked as a writer and has published two novels, one of which was filmed as a television series.

In May 2008, Liao should assume the office of Interior Minister under party leader Ma Ying- jeou. Ten days before his inauguration he broke but together with the continuous running with his wife. Resuscitation attempts failed. He died from heart disease.

He was married and had two children.
