The Liceo Scientifico Italiano IMI, known as the Liceo Italiano in Italian and Italyan Lisesi in Turkish, is a private school, which today Beyoğlu, is located in the Turkish city of Istanbul 's historic Pera district.

It was founded in 1861 in the then capital of the Ottoman Empire, Constantinople Opel. Although it is considered according to Turkish law as a private high school, the Liceo Italiano receives financial support from Italy, also all the teachers come from the country.
