Lichtenberg (crater)

19.78

Lichtenberg is an impact crater on the moon northwestern front. It is located north of the crater Briggs in the plane of Oceanus Procellarum. He points to a small, running in a northerly and westerly direction ray system. The rim is hardly eroded with concentric landslides inside.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the German physicist and writer Georg Christoph Lichtenberg.
