Liebermeister's rule

The Liebermeister rule states that increase with temperature charts of adults, the heart beats at a rate of about eight beats per minute for each degree Celsius.

It is named after the German internist Carl von Dear Master. An exception to this rule is a relatively slow pulse, especially in yellow fever, which is known as Faget symptom (pulse - temperature dissociation). Jean Charles Faget characterized this symptom in 1859.
