Career

Kolet was born in Kibbutz Kinneret. She's Egyptian, Romanian, Indian and Yemeni ancestors. At the age of 12, she won a national singing competition. In the final round in Italy, she did not win, although the first place, but they won the audience with their interpretation of Ofra Haza song Le'orech Hayam. Two years later, she sang along with former U.S. President Bill Clinton to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Israeli politician Shimon Peres the song Imagine by John Lennon.
