Steiger Award
The Steiger Awards are to personalities who have shown outstanding commitment in the areas of tolerance, charity, music, film, media, sports, environmental or coalescence of the European community since 2005, awarded annually awards.
Naming
The award is named after Steiger, a supervisory official who stands by mining tradition especially for virtues such as straightforwardness, openness, humanity and tolerance. He is responsible for a part of the mine and his subordinates. Event
Initiated and organized from the beginning was the price of Sascha Hellen ( Hellen owner Media Projects GmbH). He financed the gala event by entrance fees (175 € 500 guests).
