Life After People

Life After People (English: ' Life After People ') is a docu-fiction series, which reports on a speculative Earth without people: How long does the nature and the animal world, in order to recover? When decay which buildings? What happens to the left behind technology?

The series starts out from the assumption that humanity stops from one moment to the other to exist, so they do not by natural disasters, wars, disease, or the like is extinguished. Therefore, a completely intact infrastructure is on the " day zero " before, with full shelves in the supermarkets, abandoned pets and not shut-down industrial plants.

The series was originally aired in Germany on History. On 21 January 2008, the pilot was initially under the title When nature survive the human ... aired, then from April 21, 2009, the series. Since 2010 also shows the N24 series, and the special-interest channels ServusTV.
